COMPAS Poll/Survey
|
||||||||||||||
During the week of U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell’s speech to the UN, CEOs and other business leaders were surveyed on a variety of attitudes surrounding the possibility of a war with Iraq. The key findings from the weekly web-survey conducted by COMPAS on behalf of the National Post under sponsorship of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce are that business leaders are convinced that the evidence against Saddam is strong, want the West to both attack terrorists directly and weaken the regimes like Iraq that secretly fund and organize terrorism for their own ends, and are slightly divided about the United Nations. The web-poll began before Secretary of State Colin Powell’s address to the Security Council. |
