This week’s business leader survey explored two themes – SARS’ impact on the Toronto economy and arms’ length requirements for stock analysts. Business leaders tend not to see the Toronto economy suffering as much from SARS as did the New York City economy from 9-11. They value requirements that stock analysts be arms’ length from brokerage services but see its benefits as less valuable than caveat emptor.

These are the key findings from the COMPAS/Financial Post weekly web-survey of business leaders and CEOs under the sponsorship of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
