This week’s webpanel survey drew inspiration from John Manley’s Liberal leadership withdrawal. Overall, business leaders view Manley’s withdrawal as a positive development for the Liberal Party and Canada’s economy. No clear consensus arises among business leaders when asked how to ensure competition in Federal politics. But business leaders do agree that when a party is in power for a long time business must provide funding to gain access to decision makers. These are the key findings from the Financial Post/COMPAS survey. |
