More Accountability for Charitable Organizations

If charitable organizations are interested in raising the willingness of Canada’s business leaders to make charitable donations, they may want to consider implementing some practices like disclosing full financial records or having boards of directors. In fact, this week’s survey of Canadian business leaders illustrates that to the extent charities want to increase donations from business they should adopt these business practices. Business leaders would be more inclined to donate if they received a greater tax advantage.
