Canadians are only somewhat certain or aware of what they can expect as retirement income when they themselves retire. In practice, 29% say that they really do know what they can expect, scoring 5 on a 5 point awareness scale, as shown in table 1. Meanwhile, 25% score 1-2, indicating that they are not truly aware of how much income they will receive in retirement.
