Business leaders overwhelmingly want fairness and free market principles in Canada’s airline industry. Revoke the Air Canada Public Participation Act, relax foreign ownership rules and provide the same assistance to all of the airlines are just some of the values Canada’s business leader’s support for our domestic air travel industry. Principles of fairness extend to respondents views on Air Canada’s request for special permission to pay back its pension deficit in 10 years as opposed to the required 5 years, agreeing that this kind of special permission would be unfair to other businesses.
