This week’s business leader survey explored opinions towards Pension Fund shortfalls and Mandatory Retirement. Business leaders tend to support mandatory Pension Fund contributions. There is strong backing for the elimination of Mandatory Retirement, and moderate backing for the implementation of tougher Pension Fund investment and management regulation. They tend not to support the idea of Government taking on an insurer role in private pension funds.
