An Apple a Day:
The Sober Advice of Canada’s Business Leaders about Becoming More Productive Chamber Weekly CEO/Business Leader Poll by COMPAS in the Financial Post

Canada’s business leaders and CEOs are in the spirit of Benjamin Franklin’s oft repeated aphorism, “An apple a day keeps a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.” The keys to greater productivity are more opportunities for physical activity and healthier food as provided by some corporate insurance company cafeterias, and certainly not more opportunities to spend time after-hours in British-style pubs or observe Spanish, siesta-style lunch hours. Yet, the health of individual employees is not the only or even the most important source of productivity, according to some volunteered answers.

These are the key findings from this week’s COMPAS/Financial Post web-survey of business leaders under the sponsorship of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
