If I receive disability-related income support from a Provincial or Territorial government, may I still apply for an RDSP? The British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Northwest Territories governments have announced that they will fully exempt RDSPs when calculating an individual’s eligibility for provincial/territorial disability assistance. Nunavut and Yukon governments have changed their regulations to fully exempt RDSPs when calculating an individual’s eligibility for provincial disability assistance.
